Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Janut is a digital marketplace used by buyers and sellers across Israel, and we work to make it usable by people with disabilities. We aim to meet the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
Semantic HTML and page landmarks · full keyboard navigation, with no keyboard traps · visible focus indicators on every interactive element · labeled form fields with errors announced to screen readers · text and buttons checked for color contrast · Hebrew and English with correct RTL/LTR text direction · animations that respect your system's "reduce motion" setting.
Known limitations
Some content on Janut — product files, descriptions, preview videos and audio — is uploaded directly by individual sellers. We can't guarantee that every seller-uploaded video has captions, every PDF is tagged for screen readers, or every audio file has a transcript. We're working with sellers to improve this over time.
Compatibility
This site is built to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, together with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix — we review and improve the site on a rolling basis.
